A Destination Wedding in Rhodes with Pretty Pops of Fuchsia and Breezy Blue

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a soft spot in my heart for soft and romantic weddings in Rhodes. The wonderful scenery of Kallithea Springs set the scene for this stunning celebration. The day was done in a palette of peach, white, and pink expertly designed by the talented ladies of Eventions Weddings and filled with endlessly impressive blooms ( oh the peonies!). This bright fête in Rhodes was all about cheer. And honestly, it’s hard to feel anything but cheer when overlooking the sea-laced vista offered up at their ceremony spot!

A memorable day in Kallithea Springs

Kallithea Springs is a gem in Rhodes. It has the most beautiful scenery perfect as a wedding backdrop and its unique rotunda creates such a visually dynamic place. The historical buildings and the long history of this venue infuse every wedding held there with magic. Vasilis and Annah were drawn to Kallithea Springs primarily for the atmosphere and history and secondly for the way they made them feel the first time they set foot on the location –  legend has it that it was the home of Aphrodite!

A celebration of color

This destination wedding in Rhodes was created by Eventions Weddings and was nevertheless a fabulous celebration of love and brightness. Every detail of this beautiful wedding was curated around a happy floral feeling. The colors of the affair were vibrant peachy pinks, soft sunset hues, deeper raspberry shades, and grounded blue colors. But the main focal point was the florals and I’ll always consider myself a super fan of peonies for that reason. Bold, dynamic, and full of “pick-me-up” energy, these fragrant blooms were perfect for Annah! Also, cute pops of bougainvillea flowers and their warm pinks added such a summery feeling to the night, Gentle sea spray filled the air with a breeziness that was echoed in Aegean blue hues on the table settings and the wedding invitations. The whiteness of the venue complimented perfectly the arrangements and details curated to perfection by Eventions. 

A night filled with love and tenderness

What I love the most about Vasilis and Annah were how smitten look with each other and how effortlessly they moved and loved throughout the night. Without directions, simply by being, we were able to capture some stunning portraits they’ll be cherishing for the rest of their lives. Sometimes couples need a helpful tip or a sweet little nudge, but these two were so effortless in their way of existing, and their wedding celebration translated into lovely portraits and moments. I love how they danced together and how they cut their wedding cake and how deeply joyous they were. Their energy was magnetic!

This was definitely a destination wedding in Rhodes that I will remember for life. With utmost sweetness and romance, Vasilis and Annah said their vows for eternal love and joined their lives in front of their friends and family. It was a celebration filled with love, the Aegean breeze, and the honey scent of an evening in the Mediterranean.
