Whimsical Elegant Summer Wedding

Reminiscing of warmer days with this whimsical and elegant destination wedding in Rhodes today, filled with soft hues and the most captivating smiles. As a photographer in Greece, I get to see so many couples celebrating every year, yet every single love story wakes up this familiar and heartfelt feeling in my heart – that of love and seeing it blossom. A wedding in Kallithea Springs

For Alexandra and Dimitris, a wedding in Kallithea Springs was a perfect choice. The setting boasts not only magnificent scenery but also a unique and very beautiful rotunda and historical facilities adding so much character to every wedding held there. The unreal scenery extends from outside and into the halls of the Rotunda. The way it blends perfectly with the colors and nature of Rhodes is remarkable. Many couples are drawn to this special place and you can easily see why. Legend has it that the waters in Kallithea Springs are enchanted by the goddess of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, blessing couples with an everlasting love.

To complement the serene vibe of the location, the charming ladies of Golden Apple Weddings, created a wedding concept based on the calming shades of summer; white, light blue, eucalyptus green, along with luxurious touches of gold. The styling paired perfectly with the location. The couple said their vows under an arch that overlooked the sea, giving them and their guests an unforgettable sight. It’s true, a wedding by the sea in the summertime is one of the most romantic things that exist. 

When Alexandra walked down the aisle in the romantic melodies of the violin, hand in hand with her father, every head turned and admired her gorgeous figure-hugging dress and exquisite styling –  she was a vision in white! The bridesmaids wore blue, the groomsmen linen suits and everyone looked as if stepped out of a fashionable wedding inspo magazine. When the couple said their vows almost everyone teared up – because when it’s real love you can feel it in your heart and bones. Sealed with a kiss and big lovely smiles, the couple was ready to celebrate the fact that from that day on, they were one forever!

Tender and luxurious was the night

White blooms and a Mediterranean feeling made the balmy afternoon so beautiful. A rustic-styled reception with wooden monastery tables and chairs combined with olive garlands, white summer flowers, and balanced focal points with candlelight set the tone for the romantic celebration. One of the parts I really adored because it photographed beautifully but also gave guests a unique experience, was the luxurious champagne wall! Bubbly is always such a party starter and guests love that. Cue to the wedding cake cutting after a truly decadent dinner reception, the deliciously white and elegant confection kickstarted the wedding festivities and all the dancing!
